What is Racing4Research?
Racing4Research raises money year-round to benefit medical research
through corporate sponsorship and individual pledges, both per lap and fixed amount. With more than just winning in mind, the Racing4Research team will drive 24 hours, over 600 laps, to help raise awareness and find a cure for neurofibromatosis.

What is neurofibromatosis?

Neurofibromatosis (NF)is a set of genetic disorders that, in its most common form, affects 1:3,000 births, and causes tumors to grow anywhere throughout the body. Half of all cases occur as a result of a spontaneous genetic mutation, with the child’s family having no genetic history of the disorder. NF affects both sexes, all races and ethnic groups equally. NF is more prevalent than cystic fibrosis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease combined.

What is the Children's Tumor Foundation?
The Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) is the leading non-government funder of research into NF. The Foundation funds both clinical and non-clinical research to enable effective treatments and, ultimately, find a cure for NF.

Where does the money go?
100% of your donation will fund the Children’s Tumor Foundation's
Drug Discovery initiative (DDI).

What happens if the Racing4Research car does not finish the race?

Racing is unpredictable - some say it's three parts skill, one part luck - and there is no guarantee that one or both R4R cars will complete the entire race. Should the Racing4Research car not finish at least 50% of the race, the donor may use the combined total of laps completed by both CTF Farnbacher Loles cars, not to exceed 650 laps.

Can I enjoy the race with the CTF Team in Daytona?
YES! We have created Travel Packages to allow individuals and famiies to enjoy three days of sports car racing excitement with CTF and Farnbacher Loles Racing. Download our Travel Brochure for details.
