NF HERO: JESSE MARKLAND

"“We showed our son Jesse’s picture, told of his struggles, and asked for help from family, friends, co-workers, and perfect strangers. The help we asked for was in the form of monetary donations to fund research grants to find a treatment and cure for NF. We were very blessed to have our fundraising efforts noticed and the community that we reached out to has been generous.

Racing4Research is a wonderful program that gives a goal to those NF Heroes that want to make a difference and it gives potential donors a fun and exciting way to participate in helping to find a treatment and a cure for NF. Jesse has a poster in his room and, even though he is only three years old, he often points at the picture of the car and excitedly says, “Goes fast... got my name on it!” As his mother it is my hope that he remembers the excitement he has already experienced through Racing4Research instead of the pain, constant doctor appointments and tests.

There are many ways to fundraise for this program and the reward is FANTASIC. You get to help CTF make progress toward finding a treatment or a cure for NF and you just might have the experience of a lifetime at the Rolex 24 Hours At Daytona.”"
